Interview: December 8, 2013
In order for a democracy to grow everyone must take part in it, politics is important and people must know about it. It’s truly important that many celebrities are frightened and not brave enough to criticize the government because they’re afraid it will have an effect on their works afterward. How will beautiful actress, Min Pechaya Wattanamontri criticize the work of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra? Want to know read it.
How do you feel about the current work of this administration, do you think it’s okay? Can you criticize it? “Honestly, I don’t know much about politics.” Not knowing is not liking, have you not followed politics that much? “I don’t know about it. I’m just another kid. It’s good. I think every government has a goal to move the country forward but I am not good to the extent of being able to analyze political affairs and explain it because I am still a student.”

P.S. It’s rather nonsense to drag a celebrity into the ring to be a part of a political game. Min like many other celebrities has never been vocal about their politics. I don’t like this article, rather short but has many leading implications. The writer is totally using Min as an example of a celebrity who’s afraid to criticize the government because it can affect her works. If the writer thinks he’s so awesome then go interview every celebrity the same questions instead of putting a young actress on the spot like this. I like Min’s neutral answers, very smart not to have either side using her answers for political gain.
